From the A4 motorway, exit at the Venice Mestre tollbooth and follow the directions for Venice.
After crossing the “Ponte della Libertà”, turn right and leave your car in one of the Tronchetto garages or, if you continue straight for another 300 meters, the San Marco Garage in Piazzale Roma (the structure has an agreement with Palazzo San Lorenzo, ask for the coupon to get a special discount). The public waterbus leaves from Tronchetto (line 2) or Piazzale Roma (line 1)
and arrives to San Zaccaria in 40 minutes. From here, near the Vittorio Emanuele monument, take
the underway to San Zaccaria square. Once you have passed this, turn right for San Provolo
square and go straight up to Devil’s bridge. Palazzo San Lorenzo awaits you on the right, at the foot of the bridge.
By Train
Once you have arrived to the Santa Lucia train station, take the public waterbus n.1 for Lido/San Zaccaria and get off at the San Zaccaria stop (40 minutes). From here, near the Vittorio Emanuele monument, take the underway to San Zaccaria square. Once you have passed this, turn right for San Provolo square and go straight up to Devil’s bridge. Palazzo San Lorenzo awaits you on the right, at the foot of the bridge.

From Venice’s “Marco Polo” International Airport (distance of 13 km), take the shuttle bus n. 5 for Piazzale Roma and take the public waterbus n.1 for Lido/San Zaccaria and get off at the San Zaccaria stop (40 minutes). Alternatively, from the airport dock, use the Alilaguna motorboat service (blue line) up to San Zaccaria. From here, near the Vittorio Emanuele monument, take the underway to San Zaccaria square. From Treviso’s “Antonio Canova” Airport (distance of 33 km), take the shuttle bus for Piazzale Roma and the public waterbus n.1 that takes you to San Zaccaria in 40 minutes.
